I am writing as a constituent to urge you to support Bills 1294 and 2576 for an increase in charter school funding! Our children attend Fit Academy Charter School in Apple Valley, and they deserve equal resources through equal funding. Our school only receives between 50% and 70% of what our neighboring public school districts receive per student (source: MDE Funding Report), as evidenced in this KSTP report. Our children deserve better, please support Bills 1294 and 2576. Thank you for your time.
