Eric Kalenze Joins FIT as Curriculum Lead 225 225 FIT Academy

FIT Academy is excited to announce the hiring of Eric Kalenze to teach high school language arts and serve as curriculum development lead for the school. Mr. Kalenze is a leading authority in the field of curriculum and content development anywhere, has authored two books on the subject, and speaks around the world on the topic. He is leaving the research world to return to teaching and selected FIT Academy as he believes in the school’s mission.

Biography
Eric Kalenze’s career in education has included posts in teaching, coaching, administration, and consulting. He is the author of 2019’s ‘What the Academy Taught Us’ and 2014’s ‘Education Is Upside-Down’, and he regularly contributes pieces about education practice, research, and reform to publications like Education Week, Education Post, The Hechinger Report, Education Next, and TES US, as well as to his blog, ‘A Total Ed Case’. For the past five years, Eric has also served as the US Ambassador for researchED, an international organization dedicated to raising educators’ research-literacy and use of evidence-supported practices and programming.
